Dr. Miroslawa M. Parfomak, D.D.S., L.L.C.
Dr. Mirosława M. Parfomak first graduated from the Akademia Medyczna in Białystok, Poland, before coming to the U.S. and graduating from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1999, earning the right to practice dentistry in the States of New Jersey, New York, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Since then, she has been practicing general dentistry for over 15 years in Wallington, New Jersey.
Dr. M. Parfomak is fluent in both English and Polish.
In 2020, Dr. Parfomak's daughter, Katherine, has joined her as a practicing dentist. You will see her in the office and she is accepting new patients.
In 2022, Caroline Parfomak will be finishing dental school as well and hopes to join this family practice.
We hope to bring that small office feel to all of our patients and treat them as we do each other, as one of our own.
When she isn't working, Dr. M. Parfomak is in the ever-increasing backyard garden, tending to her honeybees, worrying about her honeybees, cooking delicious food, or finding work for her daughters or husband to do.
Dr. Katherine A. Parfomak, D.D.S.
Dr. Katherine Parfomak graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2018. She won the Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award for excellence in the clinical setting and in patient care. She completed a voluntary one year residency-equivalent through NYU Langone at the NYU College of Dentistry in 2019 to successfully earn a certificate for Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She is currently bringing what she has learned to the practice and is accepting new patients. She is also comfortable with Polish.
Dr. K. Parfomak is a strong advocate of comprehensive dental care and in stressing prevention and treatment of conditions before they become more serious. She is working to create a small group of trusted team members to be available for all your dental needs. "The more you learn about something, the more questions you have. Whenever I have those questions, I find the time to look for the answer and constantly bring back something new to my patients."
When she isn't working, Dr. K. Parfomak is taking continuing education courses to bring back to her practice, tending to her honeybees, tending to the garden, sipping some tea, painting something new, making some wine, or a combination of all that was mentioned.
She also gives her younger sister pep talks about dental school, as Caroline is currently in her third year of dental school at the family-favorite NYU College of Dentistry.
